All prices displayed on lemario.com and all transactions processed on this website are in U.S. Dollars (USD). The amount charged to your payment method will be the USD total shown at checkout, including any applicable taxes and fees.
If your payment card is denominated in a currency other than USD, your bank or card issuer will apply its own exchange rate at the time of the transaction and may charge an international or foreign transaction fee. These fees are set by your bank and are not controlled by, collected by, or refundable by Lemario.
Orders are billed on your statement under the descriptor "LEMARIO" or "LEMARIO.COM".
Taxes
Sales tax will be calculated at the checkout depending on the state you are living.

When You Are Charged
Your payment method is authorized and charged at the moment you
confirm your order at checkout, not at shipment. You will receive
an order confirmation email immediately after payment is processed.
If an order cannot be fulfilled for any reason — such as an item
becoming unavailable or a shipping address in an excluded area —
a full refund will be issued to the original payment method within
7 business days, with no action required on your part.
Payment Security
All transactions on lemario.com are processed through Shopify
Payments, which is certified PCI-DSS Level 1 — the highest
security standard in the payment card industry. Card data is
encrypted end-to-end and tokenized; Lemario does not store,
see, or have access to your full card number, expiration date,
or CVV at any point.
Our entire website is secured with HTTPS encryption (TLS 1.3),
ensuring that all data exchanged between your browser and our
servers is protected from interception.
3-D Secure Authentication (SCA)
For your protection, Lemario supports 3-D Secure 2 authentication
on all card transactions, including Visa Secure, Mastercard
Identity Check, and American Express SafeKey. Depending on your
bank's rules, you may be prompted to verify your identity during
checkout — for example, by entering a one-time code sent to your
phone, approving the transaction in your banking app, or using
biometric authentication.
This step is standard, helps prevent fraudulent use of your card,
and is required for certain transactions under banking regulations.
If 3-D Secure authentication fails, the transaction will be
declined and no charge will appear on your account.
Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment is declined at checkout, the most common reasons are:
— Insufficient funds or card limit reached
— Billing address does not match the one on file with your bank
— 3-D Secure authentication was not completed
— Card flagged for fraud prevention by your issuing bank
In most cases, contacting your bank directly will resolve the issue.
If your card was charged but your order does not appear in our
system, please contact us at support@lemario.com with your
transaction reference and we will investigate within 2 business days.
